The thermostatic expansion valve is used to adjust the supply amount of the liquid refrigerant in the evaporator
The supply amount is controlled by the degree of superheat of the refrigerant
This valve is therefore particularly suitable for the supply of refrigerant liquid in a dry evaporator since the degree of superheat of the refrigerant at the outlet of the dry evaporator is proportional to the load of the evaporator
T2 and TE2 are typically replaceable flow port assemblies
For the same valve type and refrigerant, the matching flow port assembly can be applied to all types of valve body and evaporation temperature. The filling of the temperature sensing element depends on the evaporation temperature range.
T2 (internal balanced expansion valve) and TE2 (external balanced expansion valve) are available. A system with a dispenser must be fitted with an external balanced expansion valve
